LEADERSHIP
Chris has been an adult Scout Leader since 2004. He has served as Tiger Cub and Webelos Den Leader, as well as Cubmaster, Committee Member and Committee Chair for Pack 339 in Cayce, SC.
He became Scoutmaster for Troop 339 in 2009 and has also served his council as a Merit Badge Counselor and a STEM Nova Mentor. Chris has served in numerous adult leader training roles in Scouting including on the staff of Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation, Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills, STEM Mentor Training, and has served on the staff of three Wood Badge training courses. He has also participated in national STEM training at the Florida Sea Base and as a STEM Instructor at the Philmont Training Center in Cimarron, NM.
For his service in Scouting, he has been recognized with the Scouter’s Key, Unit Leader Award of Merit, Scouter’s Training Award, Scoutmaster Award of Merit, the District Award of Merit in the Chinquapin District, and the Silver Beaver Award in 2016. In 2015 he was named Scoutmaster of the Year for the Chinquapin District in the Indian Waters Council.
Chris has been employed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation for 25 years where he serves as a Project Engineer. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of South Carolina.
Chris and his wife Dawn are the proud parents of two Eagle Scouts.
As the Venturing & STEM Nova Specialist, Jessica supports and leads the Venturing and STEM Nova Program for the Boy Scouts of America.
Jessica began her Scouting career in 2004 as a salesclerk with the Supply Division in the Dallas, Texas, area. In 2009, she moved to the national office in Irving to work with the BSA’s STEM initiative as the Senior Program Assistant and she has helped lead the efforts in creating the Nova Awards Program, other BSA STEM initiatives and the National STEM committee.
Now she works within the Design and Development Department,
Before then, as a Venturer, Jessica earned the Silver, Ranger, and TRUST awards. She also earned her Girl Scout Gold and Silver awards. She serves Venturing for Circle Ten council, Dallas, TX. She is married to James, an Eagle Scout, Silver Award, and Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow.
Alan W. Lloyd is currently a 21-year-old Junior/Second Classman at Virginia Military Institute seeking a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a Applied Math minor as a member of the Class of 2018. He currently holds the rank of Color Sergeant for Second Battalion Color Staff, Corps of Cadets and his class’s Ring Figure Chairman.
Alan is a 2010 Eagle Scout with 4 Silver Palms, a 2012 Vigil Honor Arrowmen, and a 2016 Founder’s Award recipient. He currently serves as an ASM with Troop 534 and Associate Adviser with Crew 531 in Mechanicsville, Virginia, as part of the Heart of Virginia Council. He is a Past Nawakwa Lodge 3 Chief (’13-’14), and currently serves as an adviser to the current Lodge Chief. Alan attended the 2010 NSJ, 2012 and 2015 NOACs, and staffed the 2013 NSJ and 2016 OA NEXT.
Bruce Levitt is an Eagle Scout that was born and raised in University City, Missouri. He has been an Assistant Scoutmaster, Committee Member, and Committee Chair of Troop 492 in St. Louis, MO. A Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow, Bruce has also been recognized with the Silver Beaver Award.
Bruce has extensive experience with both National, and International Jamborees.
Professionally, Bruce is an engineer and currently Executive Vice President of William Tao & Associates, the largest mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
engineering firm in the State of Missouri.
Currently Cubmaster of Pack 250 and Committee Chair of Troop 250 in Callao, Va. Past Scoutmaster and Advancement Chair District Advancement Chair for Rivers District of the Heart of Va Council

I have two sons who are both Eagle Scouts, Ryan who is in grad school for Occupational Therapy and Adam, who has been top ten in two different styles of Dance at the past two NOACs and is studying to be a whitewater raft guide (his description) at the University of Utah
Married to Patricia Parker, the world’s greatest scout mom and also a college Math Teacher
I served on TechQuest staff in 2013 at the Summit Center Tent and this year am serving as Vice Chair of Staff.
An Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow, and Warrior in the Tribe of Mic-0-Say, Scott is currently the Big Muddy District OA Advisor and Scoutmaster of Odessa Troop 286 in the Heart of America Council. He also serves on the Council Technology Committee and District Committee.
Scott has one son (Powell) who is now a Life Scout and a daughter (Reagan) who is looking forward to Venturing.
In his professional life Scott is CEO and Chief Technology Officer of OPENRSM.
